Kuala Lumpur, 19 June 2025 — In a strategic move to future-proof Malaysia’s workforce, Purple Door (M) Sdn. Bhd. has formalised a partnership with TGCCPLT to deliver globally recognised OTHM UK certification programmes in Data Protection, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This collaboration aims to strengthen the national talent pipeline in high-demand tech fields, aligning professional capabilities with global standards and the needs of an increasingly dynamic digital economy.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), held in Cyberjaya, marked a significant milestone for both organisations in their shared commitment to professional development and skills advancement. TGCCPLT Group Managing Director, Dato’ Murthy, emphasised that the partnership reflects a joint dedication to workforce development and is expected to accelerate skills acquisition in critical areas. He noted that the collaboration is well-positioned to empower professionals and support Malaysia’s competitiveness in the digital arena.
Purple Door Chief Executive Officer, Marsy Sebban, added that the MoU represents more than a formal partnership — it signals the start of a results-driven alliance designed to deliver measurable impact across industries. Through collaboration with TGCCPLT and OTHM UK, Purple Door is enabling scalable upskilling opportunities and equipping professionals with globally recognised credentials. Beyond certification, this partnership also paves the way for broader initiatives focused on digital transformation and national talent development.

Purple Door is actively conducting its certified public programmes in Data Protection, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence, starting with a 4-day Data Protection programme from 11–14 August 2025 and continuing throughout the year for Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. In addition, the team will host the 1st International Data Protection Conference in Sarawak under its flagship initiative, Protect Malaysia 2026, on 28–29 April 2026, followed by a Masterclass on 30 April 2026.
